Diane C. Friend, Esquire

Diane C. Friend, Esquire has been a member of the Delaware Bar since June 2025. She earned her Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School (formerly Widener University School of Law) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.

Diane practices as a general litigation attorney, representing individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil matters, including litigation involving property and business relationships, contract and commercial disputes, debt collection, and guardianships. She focuses on practical, results-oriented strategies while remaining fully prepared to litigate when necessary.

Before entering law school, Diane spent more than twenty years working in litigation as a paralegal, managing cases from intake through trial and working closely with clients, experts, and counsel on matters ranging from routine disputes to complex litigation. That extensive experience informs her pragmatic, detail-driven approach to legal practice.

Throughout every matter, Diane is guided by a client-first philosophy and a commitment to clear communication and thoughtful problem-solving.

Diane volunteers with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, serves as a mentor to future bar examinees through the Multicultural Judges Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and is a member of the Milford, Delaware Rotary Club.
