David J. Weidman, Esquire

Dave was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B. A. in History, 1989), George Mason University (Masters of Public Administration, 1993) and the University of Tennessee College of Law (J. D. 1996), where he was a member of the Law Review and author of two published scholarly articles. Dave was admitted to the Delaware Bar and the U. S. Court for the District of Delaware in 1997 after he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William S. Lee and T. Henley Graves in the Delaware Superior Court between 1996 and 1997. Prior to joining Sergovic Carmean Weidman McCartney & Owens, P.A. as a shareholder, he was a partner in Hudson, Jones, Jaywork & Fisher for twelve years. Dave is a member of both the Delaware Bar and the Sussex County Bar Associations, and he focuses his practice on litigation in all Delaware Courts in the following areas: business litigation, property litigation, family law, estate litigation, homeowners’ association and condominium law, corporate governance and construction litigation, including mechanic’s liens.
